BIOGRAPHY


Fielding Reynolds first entered service in Edgefield District, SC at age 15/16 and served 10 months as a private in Col. Samuel Hammond’s regiment of SC Calvary and was at the Siege of Augusta. He next served 6 months in Capt. Richard Johnson’s Company in Col. Samuel Hammond’s Regiment. He next served as an Orderly Sergeant in Capt. Cowan’s company until the end of the war. After the war Fielding Reynolds lived in Edgefield District, SC until the year 1822, when he moved to Dallas Co, AL, where he lived until his death in 1838.
